Regional Mental Health Forensics

Pre-register online for these trainingMental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a public education program that teaches the skills needed to identify, understand, and respond to signs of behavioral health challenges or crises. First Aid is given until appropriate supports are received.

Pre-register online for these trainingThe purpose of this training is to orient behavioral health staff to the criminal justice system and the experiences of persons with behavioral health challenges who are involved with that system. The training will provide insight into the perspectives of professionals in the Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health systems that inform their understanding and interventions with clients.

The SE Regional MH Office is partnering with the five counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia as well as with the state of Pennsylvania on several projects to collect mental health data for analysis and effective reporting. These statistics are specifically, but not limited to, areas within forensics, state hospitals and community-based programs and are used to help us move forward with a proactive approach to mental/behavioral health and to better serve the residents of our counties.
